Airborne Trampoline – Kitchener, Ontario

Badge of Awesome Communities invites you to share your favourite things to see and do in cool destinations around the world. We caught up with the folks from Airborne Trampoline KW — one of our featured attractions from the Waterloo Region area — to learn about what they have to offer.

What makes Airborne Trampoline awesome?

Airborne Trampoline KW: Airborne Trampoline KW is the only trampoline specific facility in the KW Region to have large and super bouncy Olympic trampolines (they cannot be compared to the trampolines at trampoline ‘parks’ which are similar to backyard ones). Airborne offers recreational classes – for both kids and adults, freestyle (off-axis moves) classes, competitive training, and special need’s classes. Unlike trampoline parks, we employ trained and fully certified trampoline coaches who can safely teach moves on the trampolines using progressions and proper technique. These moves can then be transferred to back-yard and other trampolines.

We also offer birthday parties for children and adults ages 2 and up, and for all sizes and fitness levels. We are the only place in the region where you will get the trampoline portion of the facility exclusively for your party. Along with that, you will also have a large and decorated party room for the whole two hours. In the first hour, your party will have a fully instructed session with the coach structuring the hour and adding some games such as relay races. The birthday participant will also fly high in our fun trampoline bungee (optional). When the trampoline portion comes to an end, there will be a show of flips and tricks from one of our certified coaches, and the group gathers for pictures.

For the second hour, everyone will be in the party room for food and to open the presents, all while saving your house from certain destruction. You have the choice to cater the party yourself (peanut free), or go low stress and let us organize all the food and accessories. You can also get a cosmic / glow-in-the-dark party if you so choose (don’t worry there are still spot lights on all the trampolines so participants can see what they are doing). As an added bonus, there is free Tim Horton’s coffee for all the parents.

If you are not having a party but would like to book the gym for your group – whether it be for your family, organization, business, church, school, or daycare – you can book the gym at Airborne Trampoline KW for relatively great rates! You will also get your own private trampoline certified coach to show everyone a few trampoline moves to work on. Where else can you get that in the KW area?

Looking to just jump around? We offer public jump, as well. For only $12 an hour you can come and jump on our premium Olympic trampolines underneath cosmic lasers and lights in a glow-in-the-dark setting. You will never want to go back to jumping on a regular trampoline after you experience the difference and new heights you can reach at Airborne. You can also go in the trampoline bungee for 10 minutes for only $12 extra. At Canada’s Wonderland it is $5 per minute in their trampoline bungee, and you cannot get nearly as high as you can in the ones at Airborne.

Along with all these fun options, we also run P.A. day, March break, and summer camp. Not only do we have 3 to 4 hours of trampoline fun and lessons per day, but we also have a daily outing (using a school bus), show (such as magic or reptilian), or feature like a science experiment to enhance your child’s camp experience.

At Airborne Trampoline KW, we put the utmost emphasis on safety and proper technique. All our coaches are certified by Gymnastics Ontario and the NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program), and we use Olympic trampolines of the highest quality. Our recreational level system teaches all the skills and progressions in a proper and safe order; all of our trampolines have mats and are at ground level with no drop on the sides, and we enforce the rules to help ensure people don’t get hurt.
