Funny stories. Good advice. Oodles of doodles.

I’m Josh Martin, a motivational storyteller.  I believe that life’s misadventures aren’t just memorable moments. They’re also teachable moments, equipping us with valuable skills and lessons.

And that’s what my presentations are all about: sharing funny and heartfelt stories and what those experiences can teach us about things like resilience, personal wellness and making the most out of life.

On December 2nd, be the first to take part in my newest presentation, Stocking Your Resilience Toolbox: a free online event based on a course I regularly run as a guest facilitator for groups like the Canadian Mental Health Association.

You’ll hear how my cancer diagnosis left me feeling utterly outmatched and unprepared. But as my treatment got underway, I realized I actually had plenty of coping skills and tools I could leverage — acquired through a lifetime of blunderful misadventures.

Find out what epic battles on the toboggan hill taught me about the power of pause. Discover what an idiotic bet in my underwear taught me about redefining success. See what a disastrous hike taught me about appreciating the little things — and the limits of duct tape.

It’s an hour of absurd stories and practical advice, brought to life by my signature doodles.
