A pocket-sized boost to your mental health


For a little extra calm, focus or motivation during your day, try using a reminder rock. A reminder rock is a simple object (like a small stone, bead or coin) you keep in your pocket, bag or desk that serves as a physical reminder of something important to you.

Itโ€™s like carrying a tiny piece of your intention wherever you go. And by attaching a phrase, mantra or goal to the object, you create a mindful habit. Every time you touch or see it, youโ€™re reminded of what matters most. Itโ€™s grounding, comforting and surprisingly powerful for something so small.

Step 1: Pick your rock (or any small object)

Choose something small, smooth and easy to carry. It could be a little stone, a crystal, a charm, a marble, a keychain or a lucky button โ€” whatever speaks to you.

Tip: Pick something that feels nice in your hand and wonโ€™t be annoying in your pocket. Bonus points if it already has some personal meaning.

Step 2: Load your intention

Decide what you want your reminder rock to represent. This could be a mantra, a mindset or a personal goal.

Tip: You can even use it as a meditation tool โ€” take three deep breaths while holding it and silently repeating your phrase.
