St. John’s Farmers’ Market – Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada

Badge of Awesome Communities invites you to share your favourite things to see and do in cool destinations around the world. We caught up with the folks from St. John’s Farmers’ Market — one of our featured attractions from Newfoundland & Labrador — to learn about what they have to offer.

What makes the St. John’s Farmers’ Market awesome?

“The St. John’s Farmers’ Market is a shopping destination not only for a wide variety of local produce that can’t be found anywhere else, but also for international foods, fine local craft, and amazing fresh baked goods, jams and more.

Locals and tourists gather every Saturday from 9-2 at the Lions Club Chalet to hang out, shop and have breakfast and/or lunch. If you want to tap into the heart of contemporary St. John’s culture, a stop to the St. John’s Farmers’ Market is a must. In summer of 2018 we’ll be moving to our new larger home, so be sure to check the website for details.”
